Taking into consideration your past experiences, we focus on your present experience to optimize solutions and self understanding. This results in healthier communication patterns with those you love and a greater ability to tolerate distress. Ultimately, what remains is emotional insight, a greater trust in yourself to navigate the challenges you face and a more honest and positive narrative.
WHAT TO EXPECT
I draw upon a variety of disciplines in my work with adults such as Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused Therapy (CPT), Attachment Theory, Family Systems and Mindfulness techniques. I specialize in mood disorders such as anxiety and depression, complex PTSD (especially when experienced as a child), acute trauma, parent-child attachment disorders, life transitions, boundaries, and grief/loss.
